A whimsical and super-fun design by a wonderful artist, Daniel Scarcello. Daniel was one of the top finishers in our “Worldwide Tiki Mug Design Competition” held I’d guess around 10 or so years ago. We produced Daniel’s steampunk-inspired “Kog” design. Some of you may own a Kog Tiki mug.
“Kamokamo” is Daniel’s wonderful sculpture (from his own hands) and now Halloween inspired (but great fun all year round) design! Details include the little pumpkin in Kamokamo’s hand, and you’ll also notice the inclusion of a little black widow-inspired spider down by the base! What a great design! Daniel put a lot of thought and time into this wonderful mug and this is an important mug for Daniel just as it is for Tiki Farm.
Glazed in a wonderful saturated orange stain with a black hand wash (no 2 will/can look the same), we felt this glaze was appropriate for the Halloween season and appropriate for the design. We hope you dig it!
