In 2025, the company celebrates its 75th anniversary with this T-shirt design featuring the original building and Dragster that have remained unchanged since the beginning. The design, hand-drawn by Wildman Ishii, is packed with MOON heritage—including the MQQN Equipped logo, the iconic building, and the MOONEYES Dragster—all framed in his signature pinstripe style, evoking the Hot Rod history built by Dean MOON. A special gold print on the front adds an extra touch, with the MOON Equipped eye-shape logo and MQQN Equipped logo accenting the chest. For this collection we have prepares 3 colors of Anaheim Factory Authentic 44 DX which is detailed from the archive model.
This Authentic shows respect to MOONEYES by creating the detail from the period of the Anaheim Factory and honoring Southern California’s unique culture and design of the history, with shinier foxing tape, 10 oz. heavy canvas, 100% cotton lace compared to the regular model.
This Anaheim Factory Authentic 44 DX is remastering MOONEYES’ signature color of Yellow, Black, and White and features MOONEYES eyeshape allover pattern on the vintage style textile upper.
The allover MOONEYES pattern is applied to the model, based on both company's heritage of “Customizing” and also based on the archive of custom shoes that MOONEYES requested to VANS in late 1960 to early 1970.
At that time VANS was conducting a pioneer customize by accepting local companies and customers like MOONEYES, bringing fabric to order custom shoes.
